GTYC is always pleased to welcome visiting members from other accredited yacht clubs to Traverse City and West Grand Traverse Bay! Before visiting, members from other clubs should send a letter of introduction from their club secretary to info@gtyc.org.
If you arrive on short notice, simply present credentials from your own club to our Service Manager, Chris Horvath, at the club bar.
As a reciprocal guest, you are welcome to enjoy our regular dinner and bar service. Current menus can be found at gtyc.org/latest-news. Guests are allowed a maximum of six visits per season. If you are bringing additional guests, please inform our General Manager.
Our weekly race nights occur on Wednesdays and Thursdays from May to September, featuring the PHRF and Melges 24 fleets on Wednesdays, while Interlakes and Melges 15 sail on Thursdays.
We encourage visitors to bring burgees from their clubs to exchange, allowing us to showcase them in our collection. You can check if we already have one from your club here.
For those seeking reciprocal docking privileges, the GTYC does not operate a marina and cannot offer dockage to guests. The closest facility to the club is the Elmwood Township Marina, which offers transient accommodations and is just a short dinghy ride away.
