The Application Process
Once we have a chance to meet you, you'll be asked to fill out an application online.
We collect general information about our applicants to better plan for appropriate activities for adults and families.
To be considered, all applicants must be sponsored by two Equity members.
These members cannot be from the same household.
If you do not have two sponsors, please speak with our Membership Chair (membership@gtyc.org).
Applications for membership shall not be discriminated against on the basis of race, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or any other grounds per federal, state, and local law.
Membership applications are considered year-around.
To keep informed as to the activities of the Club, the application process, and suggestions on how to improve your chances of having your application considered by the Board, we encourage all of our applicants to subscribe to our weekly Docklines updates.
Dues Payment
No payment is due at the time of application. Once the Board of Directors approves an applicant, the payment of the required dues is necessary to activate the membership.
Service is a GTYC tradition
As a non-profit organization, the GTYC relies upon the service of its members to keep fees affordable and to improve programs and operations. When you apply for membership, we expect that you will commit your interests and talents to the mission of the club. Working together with fellow members is the best way to become part of our community!
