Status Update 4/22/08

We have made a lot of progress in a short amount of time. I guess the easiest way to summarize what has been accomplished since the last update is to bullet point

- Investigation has been concluded.

- Temporary power is being restored to the site

- Clam Bake site and details are being finalized

o Wares Brothers / Frosty Treat (Elmwood), Friday May 2 nd .

- Bi-Annual membership meeting location and details have been arraigned

o Holiday Inn, April 25 th   7pm, Cash Bar

- A professional survey and site plan has been ordered and scheduled to take place this week.

- Several (4) different construction/restoration firms have been contacted and are in the process of providing bids for phase one of reconstruction. (Demolition)

- A fire/water damage firm has been contacted and is providing a quote on restoring what contents might be salvageable.

- Memorabilia, trophies and items that have historical significance to our club have been reclaimed from the interior, documented and photographed for insurance purposes.

- Building has been secured

- The liquor license has been placed into escrow until a new facility is erected

- The permitting process for a re-location/on site license has been started with the MLCC.

- Architectural firms have been contacted.

- The operations committee met last night and has made progress on the clubs day-to-day functions.

- The GTYC burgee flies proudly over the club once again.

The building is extremely unstable and condemned at this point. Absolutely no one is allowed entry into the building. Our historical memorabilia has been preserved; the remainder of the contents will be removed by professionals.

More to follow soon see you Friday at the Holiday Inn!

Thank you,
